White thread on black sateen
Cloth
Lettering

Up to three letters, embroidered on the duvet cover hem and both pillowcases. The thread is always the opposite of the cloth — that is the whole idea.

A queen bed neatly made in white percale bedding in a bright Madrid apartment bedroom with oak herringbone floors and morning light.

How it works

From "just landed" to "already made".

01

Choose cloth and size

Black or white. Percale or sateen. 90, 105 or 120 cm — tell us your residence and we almost certainly know which bed you have.

Macro of white percale cotton showing its matte plain weave.

02

Add your initials

Three letters, embroidered here in Madrid in the opposite thread. Adds three working days, and it is the reason nobody borrows your pillowcase again.

03

It is there when you arrive

Delivered to your room or reception before move-in day. Unpack, make the bed once, done. No midnight IKEA run.

A student room with the bed neatly made in white bedding and a packed suitcase beside it.

The kits

Three packs. Zero guesswork.

Two for the bed, one for the bathroom. Everything is cut, sewn and checked in our own factory — not picked off a warehouse shelf by an algorithm. Bedding comes in black or white, in percale or sateen.

Reserve Bath

Signature and Bath together, €429 instead of €458. Monogramming is €35 per pack (up to three pieces) or €15 per individual piece. Two of each towel is deliberate — one on the rail, one in the wash, which is the entire reason a student towel ever starts to smell.

Many Madrid residences already give you a duvet, so we sell the duvet itself separately (€95) rather than charging everyone for one they may already have. Tell us where you are living and we will say whether you need it. The first bath run is limited to ten sets.

The monogram

White on black. Black on white. Nothing else.

We make two colours, so the thread decides itself: black cloth takes white thread, white cloth takes black. No palette to agonise over, no colour that dates by December. Just your initials, set in a Didone serif, stitched on the duvet cover hem and both pillowcases.

Embroidered here in Madrid, not in Poland — which is why it adds three working days instead of three weeks. Symbols and small crests are available from our set; genuinely bespoke artwork is quoted separately.

Catalogue

Every piece, sold on its own.

Build a kit or replace one piece. The bedding comes in black and in white, percale or sateen, in all three residence sizes. Towels and the bath mat are white only — a black monogram on white terry is the same idea, the other way round.

The other colour

Black is not a mood.
It is a decision.

Macro of white percale cotton showing its matte plain weave. Macro of black cotton sateen showing its lustrous sheen along a fold.

The cloth

Two weaves. Pick by how you sleep.

Percale — 200 thread count, plain weave, matte and cool to the touch. The crisp hotel feel, the one that makes a sound when you turn back the corner. Sleeps cooler, which matters in a Madrid September.

Sateen — 300 thread count, softly lustrous, heavier drape. Warmer, quieter, closer to skin. The one that looks expensive in photographs, if that is a consideration.

Both OEKO-TEX® certified — independently tested for harmful substances, down to the thread and the dye. Machine wash 40°C, tumble dry low. Care card in every kit.

Delivery

What arrives when.

We hold stock in Madrid, which is the only reason next-day is possible. Monogramming happens here too. Only genuinely bespoke work goes back to the factory.

The factory

Not a dropshipping brand. A family factory.

My family has run a certified textile factory in Poland for over twenty years. The looms, the cutting tables, the seamstresses who spot a crooked hem from across the room — that is home. These are the sheets hotels actually use, made by people who were making them before I could spell percale.

Then I moved into a student residence in Madrid and slept on what was technically a bedsheet. Cama de Oro is the shortest possible distance between those two facts.

For parents

Flying in from abroad? Have it waiting.

You are already juggling flights, visas, tuition transfers and the quiet suspicion that your child owns nothing practical. This is one thing off the list — the one they notice every single night.

Order before move-in and the kit is in the room when they arrive, initials and all. Certified quality from a real European factory, so nobody is gambling on marketplace mystery bedding.

Questions

The things people ask.

Why only black and white?

Because a monogram needs contrast to read, and because colour dates. Two cloths, two threads, one decision less. It also means we hold real stock in Madrid instead of guessing at eight colourways — which is what makes next-day delivery possible at all.

What bed size do I have?

Madrid residences run 90, 105 or 120 cm wide, almost always 200 cm long. Newer studio buildings are usually 120; classic residences are usually 105. Tell us your residence at checkout and we will match it — we have the sizes for twenty-five of them on file.

How long does the monogram take?

Three working days, because it is embroidered here in Madrid rather than at the factory. Symbols and small crests from our set take five. Genuinely bespoke artwork is quoted separately and takes longer — ask before you order.

Can I return a monogrammed piece?

Un-monogrammed items: the EU-standard 14-day right of withdrawal, unused and unwashed, no interrogation. Monogrammed pieces are made to your specification, so they are excluded — check your initials on the preview before you confirm.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash 40°C, tumble dry low. These are hotel-grade textiles built for industrial laundering, so a residence washing machine is a spa day for them. The embroidery is colourfast and goes in with everything else.

Do you work with residences directly?

We are building delivery partnerships with the residences serving IE University and Universidad Europea. If yours is not on the list yet, we deliver to reception regardless. For residences reading this: we also supply monogrammed sets contract-direct — get in touch.
